NEW CLUB GUIDELINES

Notes for teams looking to apply to our League

Any new club looking to apply to join the League should be prepared to provide information surrounding the following points at an appointed interview:

The Club:

a. Background and History

b. Reasons for wanting to join the League

c. What can the Club offer our League Clubs and their players

d. Charter Standard?

e. Age groups required – expected/suggested standard

The Team(s):

a. Number of players

b. Previous Clubs/Leagues

c. Coaches (Level obtained/CRB situation)

d. Ground and facilities (Exclusive use)

e. Team Colours

f. Discipline procedure

Administration:

a. Officers and experience

b. County affiliation and registration number (2010/11)

c. Financial situation

d. Constitution and Codes of conduct

e. Welfare Officers role and experience/courses

f. Insurance levels

g. Need/agreement to attend training courses

h. Ability to ensure lack of fines

i. Inter-club communications & those with the League

General:

a. Referee(s) situation

b. Representative teams

c. Grading games/Evening fixtures

d. General Meetings (Inc. AGM) and Rule Book

e. Hopes and Aspirations of the Club – ambitions

Questions From The applicant:

Possible final matters from the panel

a. Fair Play and Manager of the Year Awards

    (Inc. other awards – secretary of the Year/Presidents)
